Energy audits
An energy audit can be seen as a photograph of a building focused on its energy situation. This analytical picture will enable you to reduce and master your energy consumption.
When conducting an energy audit, G.E.M.S. focalizes on:
-the envelope of the building (set of wands, materials used, thermal bridges,...) in order to determine your energy needs;
-the heating, production of warm water, ventilation, air-conditioning and lighting systems (equipment and regulation) to analyze how your energy needs are fulfilled;
Once the energy model of your building is developed, our engineers start running alternative simulations in order to determine the best way to reduce your energy costs.
At the end of the energy audit, our consultants provide you with an audit report including a description of your building's thermal behaviour and a summary of all the measures that will reduce your energy consumption with the shortest economic return time.
