EPB - Energy Performance of Buildings

Aware of the impact of the buildings on the environment, the European Union decided to introduce a directive on the energy performance of the buildings.

The aim is to impose a certain number of requirements on the buildings but also on the technical installations to guarantee a good energy performance level.

The buildings which do not respect these requirements will be sanctioned by fines. Each building will be given an energy certificate of performance which will have a direct impact on its financial value since it will give a precise idea of the future consumption of the building.
