EPB - Energy Performance of Buildings
The EPB directive is being applied in all EU member states.
Its aim is to oblige every property owner to inform the market about the energy performance of its own building(s).
This means that every new building or refurbishment must be followed by an EPB advisor in order to make sure this building complies with current standards.
Moreover, every building being sold or rent needs to be certified by an EPB certifier
Even though this is administratively constraining, it gives the opportunity to building owners to have a deep look at the energy behavior of their real estate and find the solutions to improve it.
